I have a few questions about the Divx players.
1) are they Mac compatible or do you have to buy somethign special there?
2) There is a TV card in their I s'pose but is there a way to buy an external card and just use a normal harddrive with the Divx player right on it?

I'm sure I don't understand...it is a normal HDD. And, you seem to be having some confusion between the correct uses of there and their...surprisingly enough coming from an English teacher, but hey, who am I to make distinctions, right?

Actually, you can use this w/ a hard-drive but I don't think it covers playback in all formats though...but I could be wrong.

Buy an original XBox. Get it modded. Throw Xbox Media Center on it and you are golden. Nothing comes close to it. Nothing.

I have an Abigs DivX player and first of all I have to say it is awesome. You can buy just the case which comes with the firmware needed to run the machine and then install your own 3.5" drive. Or you can buy a combo unit with a hardrive already in it. It has all the regular outputs on the back of it as a DVD player and it comes with converter software that will make other formats compatible with your DivX player. It connects to your computer through your USB connecter and the one I have is compatible with Windows and Mac OS.

I don't think so.

It's just awkward but I don't think it's a "there/their" issue.
