We are considering a job offer at Seogang Language Institute close to downtown Daegu, and would really appreciate any info people have on:

***private language institutes in Daegu

*** housing in Daegu (what's the typical space like for teachers? couples?)

*** is there a 'creative' scene for foreigners there at all i.e. where we could get involved in dance / music / poetry etc.....

*** bars and dancing would be good to know about too..and your life if you live there Smile

Basically we have very little idea of how many foreign teachers there are in Daegu or what the feel of the city is - or how different it is from Seoul - although it seems really nice from what we've been able to find so far..

Any advice would be really appreciated! THANKS!
