Anyone in Daejeon know the address to the place I need to go for a Korean driver's license?
Also, I have a Canadian license, so do I just go there and exchange mine for a Korean license? What's the cost? Is there a waiting period, or is it done on the spot?
Thanks for any info.

Can't help with the location of the office, but you just exchange your Canadian license for a Korean one. Take a few passport size photos with you or you can have them shot there for 6-10 000. That will leave you with some extras. You will need to fill out a health survey form and do an eye test. Give them 5 or 6000 and you get your new Korean license. |

What's the origin of your user name, by the way? |

It's a toy from the early 80's. Can't remember series name. 4 inch plastic characters with large rubber ballish heads that pop off when you push a button on their backs. The one I got had a big bloodshot eyeball head and a skinless body. OculisOrbis was his name. I still have have it. |

I think you can mail away to the AAA or the Canadian version of the AAA for an International License.
There is a web site I don't have the link. It night be in the travel forum.
Do search on "International drivers license".
