I not so long ago did an interview with NetKorea Recruitingfor a Gepik position in Ilsan. I signed the contract and I've sent them some of my documents.

Now I've come to find out they don't actually know if I have a position and more than won't likely know if I have a school until the middle of August.

Does this seem just a bit wierd to anyone?

Should I be as concerned as I am now over this or just don't worry about it?

Certainly its of a big concern.
What start date did your contract stipulate and with which school?

Tell them to confirm it with you within a few business days and if your recruiter can't do that, drop him and get a new job (or even recruiter if you like).

Don't waste your time sitting in the dark on this one.

Tell them to guarantee you a spot, or you will find a school/recruiter that does.

Maybe they heard about your reputation and the suspect reasons for leaving your first position. That would turn many off Cool

I finished my first contract. It was my second one I had trouble with. Now do try to keep your facts straight. Very embarassing when a troll goes wrong.

The Gyeonggi Board of Education still don't know who is renewing and who is leaving. Well, they have an idea, but the people who have expressed their interest to renew won't have to sign a new contract until July sometime... which means that the number of new NETs they need is not certain.
That may be one of the reasons your new school cannot be confirmed yet.

No matter I just made the decision to take an extended vacation and go ahead with trying to get signed on in Feb. or march.

I need the vacation far more than I need the job.
