I am sitting at my desk watching some girl get chewed out for wearing her skirt 1mm too high. It seems ridiculous to me. Her skirt level looks exactly like all the others. I am always seeing the K teacher knit pick over little things related to uniforms... Is it like that everywhere?

My countryside school seems to go through phases. At the beginning of the year they were having a big uniform crackdown. Now I go into classes and 1/3 of them are in their track suits. I don't really notice on average a huge difference in dress and deportment from my small town to larger cities. If anything it's a bit stricter at private urban schools, I gather.

Yesterday I did notice a teacher actually tucking in students shirts herself as they passed by her on the way into school. I guess it all depends on who's on guard.
