Are there any shops in Seoul that will do brazilian style waxing on men or are they all too conservative? If there are any do you need an appointment, how much, any phone numbers? I also read some posts by some of the female waxers that some of the waxers do better jobs and others are painful and draw more blood. Any names for waxers that do a good job or names of those to avoid. Up until now I've only trimmed but I'm concerned about it growing in thicker and thinker down there if I ever want to stop trimming when I get older, so figured waxing might be something to consider trying since it apparently grows in thinner each time. Also, any knowledge about what you should do before going in, should I keep trimming or do I need to let if grow to be able to wax it? Any info is appreciated.

Have you ever waxed anything on your body? Are you aware that a Brazilian takes off EVERYTHING? That's some sensitive tissue there... and sometimes the skin in some areas isn't very...ah... taught.

I think it would be extremely painful for a guy to do this.

I'd advise getting something else waxed first. Maybe your upper thighs, just to see how it feels before you book yourself in for the whole thing.

Along the lines of what Canadian Club is saying, you can buy a coupla varieties of waxing products at EMart. There's the roll on liquid and the pre-waxed strips. They each work equally well, but the roll on stuff comes with some nice clean-up/moisterizing pads.

wow why do you want the excruciating pain? IT HURTS LIKE HELL. I mean HELL. You might as well just tweeze all the hair out yourself and it will still hurt the same...will just take way longer.

I don't understand how so many people complain about waxing "down there"- yeah, it's not comfortable, but it's seriously not that painful. Don't let that be a deterrent.

That being said, I do not personally know any guys that have done it. My first thoughts are 1) to try any Western-oriented salon that advertises waxing in general- maybe they would do dudes as well as chicks (?) and 2) are there certain "gay" areas around, where there might be a better chance due to the target audience?

Hope that doesn't come across wrong, but that's genuinely what I would look into if I were in your situation.

go to itaewon, there's a shop above burger king that will wax anything u want and they arent too expensive, they do massages too (not sexual ones)

Sorry, wasn't sure if they did guys there as well- the place above the BK is called Green Turtle, and that's where I go for all of my waxing. You don't really need to make an appointment there, you can kinda just show up, usually.

For women, I believe that the Brazilian is $50, which is less than what I pay at home. I'm not sure if there would be a different price for dudes, or what, but def worth a shot.
