I moved to Wonju in February and am looking for a good gym. So far, even the natives here are clueless. Anyone know of any good gyms in Wonju? I would also like to find a workout partner, age, race, gender is not important. PM me if interested. BTW, I have a car, so transportation is not a problem.

I live in socho myeon, on the edge of town near chiaksan. I don't know if that helps. I am not real familar with the dongs in Wonju, yet. (That sounds funny doesn't it??)

There's a gym at an atheletic center near Lotte Cinema and Outback. Most everyone knows where that is. The building is a big oval shaped building. It is next to a Hi-Mart. It is 2,000 won each time you want to go work out. They also have a pool there, badminton courts, basketball courts, a restaurant, and oh yeah, outside there is a skate park. I like to go there to work out when I go.

Also, don't expect many Koreans to know where stuff is. You think they are pretty clueless as to where to find a gym, just wait until you live here a little longer. You will see just how clueless these people really are.

Do you mean that the Koreans in Wonju are clueless as to where things are in town, or?
