|
|
I came across this thread on the EFL Law forum, and was profoundly affected by the urgency of this ladys situation.
http://www.koreabridge.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3972
Heres a chance for all of us to stand together and help out a fellow teacher in a dire situation.
Lets show Denise we care, and show the Korean powers that be that we will not tolerate such injustice! |

Folks,
This case is one of the worst cases of abuse on a foreigner you could wish to see.
The victim is terribly battered and bruised.
Two foreign Legal experts from Pusan Law Offices donated much time and went to Seoul to provide initial assistance. These gentlemen have helped her immensely over the early hurdles.
BUT in this particular case, the victim (now almost penniless as no pay has come in) is in worthy need of financial assistance to pursue a very strong case against the person who so badly beat her.
We are hoping to raise ONE MILLION WON for her from donations from any teachers/readers.
If any one wants to help, send a PMS to us, or Response to this thread, indicating how we can get bank information to you. |
Can we as a community, rise up and help denise get relocated and a decent job in Seoul? |

| Ok. I'll throw caution to the wind and cough up a bit of dough. But how do I get it to her? |

Affirmative. Thanks blah for letting us know about this.
And let's hear it for the good work EFL-Law is doing.

I was wondering that too, but the EFL-Law people have been around for quite a while and have a high degree of credibility - as does Pusanweb/Koreabridge. If EFL-Law say she's in bad shape, has a strong case, etc, I believe them. |

That is some cold hearted *beep* happening right there. My thoughts with the teacher here.
I wouldn't piss on the man involved if he was on fire.
Unless I pissed gasoline.

I called the Police and after an hour they got to my school. They said I could not do anything to press charges against him since there was no weapon involved in hitting me.
|
The cops lied too. This is pure bull isn't it? We've heard heaps of stories about guys who hit Korean men and get fully charged by the law. I think the cops should be charged along with the school.
I'm willing to give 50,000won without hesitation
