we're thinking about getting a new one on our way through Hong Kong (duty free), but we're unsure which brand to get. we had some bad experiences with both Dell (improbable that it'll be in the duty free shops) and hp/Compaq.

anyone have any recommendations for us?

thanks!

Well, if you are willing to give Dell another shot you can order online from their Korean site. The site has an English version and you can order a laptop with an English system and English keyboard, if that's what you want. There is no duty or extra taxes added. I recently bought one from there, great experience. PM me if you have any questions.
