These sorts of threads have been done before, I know, but a search function turned up squat.
1. Does anyone know of an English-speaking violin/fiddle teacher in or around Bundang?
2. Do you know of any violin music academies in your area that might entertain the notion of taking on an adult foreigner? (asking here is easier than randomly walking around neighbourhoods reading through masses of signs to find one)
3. Anyone out there who plays and is willing to coach me through the basics (tuning, maintenance, changing strings, holding the instrument and reading tablature)?
If you are able to provide answers to #1 and #2 that help me find a teacher, I will happily treat you to a pint of Guinness at the Dublin.
If you are able to help out with #3 then I'll make it dinner (restaurant or homemade, your choice). a pint and a couple of loaves of banana bread (or homemade dinner rolls if you should so prefer).
Be happy, be healthy and laugh often.
Cheers. |
