The "Personal Style" thread got me thinking as people described the different clothing they wear at home, and around town. Well, I was a little embarrassed to say this, but when I'm at home, I wear as little as possible. It's one of the great joys of living alone, in a high building, with a window facing an uninhabited hill.

I stopped wearing pyjamas a long time ago, and when I wake up, I'm in no hurry to get dressed. In this weather, it's just practical (why needlessly dirty or rumple my clothes?) but unless it's really chilly, I'll do it the rest of the year too.

I do try to be relatively presentable when I'm chatting to people on the internet and avoid being in the buff. I don't want to talk to someone who's buttnekkid and sitting at the computer, so I don't force it upon anyone else.

Funny you should ask that. I usually wear my undies when posting, but I started to take my very first shower in my new apt and then figured out I'd forgotten to turn on the boiler. So I'm sitting here in the altogether waiting for the water to heat up.

I see very little reason for wearing too much while at home. I would say 70% of the time I am in my bday suit in the summer and maybe 30 % in the winter unless its real cold.

Before I was married it was generally a pair of boxers and maybe a shirt. Now that I'm living with the inlaws, can't do that. I don't think they really want to see all of me.

I don't think the options are fair. There's never a time when I sit around in just my underwear, or naked. It's very uncomfortable for me. I can't sleep naked, either. Any of you walking around naked, especially if you're sitting down anywhere, remind me never to go to your place. That's gross. And you can't tell me sleeping naked is sanitary, either. I don't care how many times you've washed your ass, there's still something floating around, and it's getting rubbed all over your sheets (get it? sheets. )
