Hey folks!
I had a question about file conversions....
I want to convert .avi/.rar etc... files into MP4's so i can play them on my iPod....I was using a program called AVS that I got from downlaod.com, but it just seems to make the file say NEW, with no change in the file extension....
Am i missing something? Is there a better program out there for this type of conversion???
Any help would be appreciated!

maybe i asked the question wrong i think.....
what is the best way to upload MP4 files onto an ipod??
download only MP4's because conversions don't work?? i'm new at this and i really wanna watch some seinfeld on my way to work every morning!!!!

| Isn't there some downloadable software on the Apple website that can convert the files for you? There should be as every Apple user has to convert video to MP4 to play on their iPods. That must be so tedious........ |
