Is tahini available in Seoul? I am a hummus freak and if it is easy to get chick peas, lemons vinegar etc but not tahini, I will definitely bring some along to get my fix when I have a craving. |

Itaewon. Facing Whatthebook, look left. There's an Indian confectionery/general store. |

tahini = olive oil (or even just ordinary cooking oil ) + roasted seseme seeds, + food processor. Made my own recently, and then I made hummus, it was glorious. |

Foreign food market in Itaewon. 2500 won for a bag of dried beans. Soak 'em for at least 3 hours, then boil for 45 mins. |

or if you're in Daegu, theres a tiny Pakistani shop with lentils, chickpeas, garam masala, cumin, coriander etc. ie, vegetarian heaven.
PM me if you want the address. |
