This is going to sound rather idiotic, but I blame it being a Monday, and far too much beer over the weekend!

If someone tells you that you have 10 days from TODAY (18th) to submit something, when is the day of submittal the 27th or the 28th?

I would class it as because it's FROM TODAY today is the first day, therefore the final day is the 27th.

Any different thoughts because my heads buzzing!! Confused

I'd imagine one day would be the 19th, two days would be the 20, three would be the 21 ... ten days would be the 28th.

The rule of thumb for things like this in Korea is as follows...use common sense to determine the probable answer, then go against it. Always works for me.

Ten beers from now, then subtract the hours and multiply by four.

But in relation to dates, not just numerical addition, 10 days from today (incl. today) is the 27th.

By company logic 10 days from today is the 28th but then also 10 days from tomorrow i.e the 19th is also the 28th.
