Anyone know of any good programs for making medium-large sized posters with graphics and text? Our school has a special printer that can make high quality large posters. Most of the teachers just use Hangeul Word to do this but trying to use Hangeul Word has been a trying experience for me...

If you want to use a word processing program, you can download open office here:

http://www.openoffice.org/

Their program "writer" is very similar to word.

If you have a USB drive, you can a portable version of open office here:

http://portableapps.com/apps/office/openoffice_portable

If you're looking for a decent program try "page maker" by adobe. I used to use this program when I would do layouts for the marketing job I had in a different life time.
