Yoda, the ancient and revered Jedi Master, lived his final years hiding on the swamp planet of Dagobah. Nine hundred years old, Yoda had trained Jedi for eight centuries, and was very powerful in the Force. Among his last pupils were the most important (and reckless) Jedi in recent history, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker.
In the waning days of the Republic, Yoda was a respected senior member of the Jedi Council.

OK, so this dude is over 900 years old and no one took the time to teach him any grammar!! WTH?! So if Yoda was to enroll in your class, what do you think he might say?

Have fun with it.
Very Happy

i remember when I taught kids, they used to insult each other by calliing each other Yoda.

I had to explain that to them that Yoda is one of the coolest characters in the star wars universe....I guess they thought otherwise.

Fun! Smile

It's Yoda's first day of class!

English Teacher: Welcome, Yoda. I am proud to have you in my English class.

The English teacher pats Yoda on the head.

Yoda: Thank you. Nine hundred years over I have lived, yet much to learn I still have.

English Teacher: Uhm...Yoda?

Yoda: Yes?

English Teacher: Please repeat after me. I have lived for over nine hundred years, yet I still have much to learn.

Yoda: (pause) So certain are you?

English Teacher: Yes.

Yoda: If so smart you are, oh English teacher, then challenge must I not your knowledge.

English Teacher: Uhm...Yoda?

Yoda: Yes?

English Teacher:
Again, please repeat after me. I must not challenge your knowledge.

Yoda: (pause) Hmm....the Dark Side I sense in you.

Yoda's conversation with a classmate...

Classmate: You look different.

Yoda: No! No different! Only different in your mind.

Classmate: Well, you look different to me...and you're really short.

Yoda: Do you nothing hear that I say? Size matters not.

Classmate: You talk funny, too.

Yoda: Nine hundred years over have I lived and never I have been so insulted.

Classmate: Fine. I'll try to be more open-minded.

Yoda: No, you must do. There is no try.

Classmate: Dude, what's up your butt!

Yoda: Hmm...the Dark Side I sense in you.

Hahahahaha!

Grammar is not as important as a lot of people think. Yoda's pronunciation is remarkably good, considering he's the last member of a completely alien species. Gotta start with vocabulary, you know, without that grammar is useless.

Anyway, it's not always HOW you say the words, it's about what you have to teach. If invited, I'd sign up to be a Jedi Knight in exactly two minutes.

Damn, just put a light sabre in my hands, some of you got something to worry about.
