A friend of mine said he went to the airport a few times and asked about no shows for flights. He said a few times he was lucky and that they had a seat for him at a discount price, considering that most airliners want full flights.
Of course, the risk is that you might spend time going to the airport for nothing, but has anyone tried this? |

| A friend of mine did that years ago at Heathrow, didn't care where he went as long as it hot. He just kept going around all the flights desks, until he got a seat. He managed to get a roundtrip to Jamaica for sweet FA. I think he only spent a couple of hours at the airport. |
