I'm wondering if anyone's ever called to see if their hagwan is paying taxes. How did you do it? Did your bosses find out? Did you catch any hell for it from the school or Revenue Korea?

You see, I'm pretty sure my school isn't paying but I want some proof, first.

I had to go to the tax office to get proof that I was paying taxes in KOrea. I needed the proof for immi, so they could give my wife a visa.
I went with one of my KOrean adult students and they told her that they didn't show my school paying taxes on me.
I went back to school and the owner tryed to tell me that his accountant hadn't paid the taxes yet. Well he didn't pay any of the taxes that he took out of my pay for 11 months. The motherfricker still owes me my last months pay.

Who pays taxes in Korea? Nobody pays taxes in Korea. Ha! I know my boss doesn't. It's a little thing I keep tucked away for future purposes. I just make sure he deducsts the correct amount, so I don't lose out in the end.
