I have no idea what this lesson plan is called (I gave it the current moniker-sorry for not being creative), but I like it. Anyone got any history for this? My CT is doing an MA in education for young learners, and this was the lesson plan framework taught to her. It's similar to PPP, but I think this is easier to keep a handle on.

I couldn't get the table to insert, so you know, just visualize this with pleasant little compartments keeping everything clearly seperated.

THE M.E.E.I.I.I.F Lesson Plan

Steps Time Framework Procedure Materials Reasons

Motivation
Encounter #1
Encounter #2
Internalize #1
Internalize #2
Internalize #3
Fluency

EDIT: Design: the Motivation, Encounter, etc should be aligned under the framework part.

I don't write lesson plans anymore. I just have goals and take note of what we need to do next time. Some of the lesson plans I've seen for demo classes look like term papers. Shocked

LOL! Me to.

O.P., it looks like a copy of a modified ESA lesson plan (Engage, Study Activate), although it could be a patchwork E.S.A. lesson plan.............

Anyone?

I found one the name, they cut out the M and just call it the E.I.F, which is very close to what you were talking about with ESA.

Thanks for the help. If anyone is interested I can send you a copy of one filled out and some other more descriptive details about it.
