greetings, i would appreciate any input on the cheapest and fastest ways to take care of these two requirements for the folks at GEPIK. will be working at a high school, if that makes any difference, and am originally from ontario.

I'm from the other side of Lake Ontario...
Anyways, for my police check I had my mom go to the LOCAL PD department and had them print out a criminal background sheet. Mine was blank...
I never heard about that again, and I made sure my recruiter knew it was only for the LOCAL jurisdiction of my pleasantville USA town.
Medical check = a self evalutation stating I was in good health and would complete a primary medical exam upon starting work. Signed the self eval. and have never been asked about the health check-up since. You need something for the recruiter, but it might not have to be a physical, as I just signed a waiver, but your school will either ask you to get the physical or ignore the requirement.
I know my recruiter ATC uses the self evaluation form, and you can check their website out: there's a copy of it in their downloads section. Google ATC recruiters and take a look at it. |
