| If I quit my hagwon without a release letter, can I still re-enter the country and do privates instead? Any other information about F-4 regulations would be appreciated. I can never get a definitive answer, even on EFL law. Last year, my entire school had to visit immigration to prove authenticity of degree and the officer told me to go back to bed. I didn't need to be there. Kyopos are trusted without question? I'm just not sure of my rights. Even the school was not well versed on the law. |

You don't need anything. You can quit today and get another job tomorrow.
You shouldn't need anything more for immigration. The only paperwork you have to worry about is what your new job will ask you for. |

| I believe if you don't commit a serious crime (ie. murder, drugs), you should be free to do almost anything. |

F2, F4 and F5 visas holders didnt have to do ths stupid degree verification.
As far as what you need to quit. All you need to do is walk away. I would still give notice as is required by the contract just to cover my ass against any civil suit they might bring against you, but in the end, you are free to walk and they cant do anything to you. This is the beauty of the F visas |
