I think I've mentioned before that Koreans are reluctant to help foreigners, but I shouldn't feel bad as I know many hate me as well. The reason I shouldn't feel bad is because they hate their own kind as well and in the article below they were even reluctant to help a poor little Korean girl.

Some of the Korean men who got their rocks off, probably got into returning again and again to have sex with a 14 year old female prisoner. I doubt their punishment will hardly fit the crime. Think what would happen to a foreign male who had sex multiple times with a Korean female minor, who knows, maybe one of you did? There's got to be at least 1 foreigner in the bunch of 800 suspects! If not yet, this could be a tip-off for the police to go find one and put a twist on the story.

I think the police by and large in Korea know about the illegal sex trade, but don't do anything about it.

Wasn't there a guy from Europe that held a girl prisoner for like 5+ years who was recently caught? He had a hidden room for her under his house or something.

If this were an isolated incident then I'd be shocked, however, stuff like this happens all over the world. Nice attempt to treat it as a "Koreans hate Koreans" thing.

Its not about Koreans abusing a little Korean girl. Its about a bunch of sick perverts who abused a child. Believe it or not, there are child abusers and child predators OUTSIDE of Korea.

I think the sad thing is that the article seemed to say that some of the customers might get charged with the crime of "sex with a minor". Not raping a minor, and not solicitation of a prostitute on top of it.

And then, it says that one of the customers, a university professor, didn't realize that she was only 14 and he hopes that they don't tell his university because he doesn't want to lose his job....

I think they should show the photos of every customer who got caught, and let them face the public wrath (if there'll be any).

Agreed. It is not a matter of saying, "Look at the evil Koreans!" However, when certain Koreans go on about the decadent sex crazed West and how virtuous they are it is extremely hypocritical. One can see that they really aren't any different. There are sickos everywhere. One should keep that in mind the next time a "Japan are a bunch of sex perverts" thread is started. Has it been 6 weeks yet?

Oh and I hope these people rot in jail for life. Nothing worse than a child molestor.

BTW, I know obviously consent was not given in this case and that this is clearly rape but what is the age of consent in South Korea? 13 seems awful low.

Sounds like Korea was trying to create one.

You'd think after 800 men or so saw this girl that at least one would have the good nature to report it to the police. I find it hard to believe that anywhere in the world, out of 800 people, you would find 800 bad apples.

I guess we should be thankful for the positive step of the police not trying to pin the blame on the girl like that last time a jr. high sex slave / rape story hit.

The castration of these guys doesn't need to be said. It should be done.
