If a US company wanted to hire someone who resided in Korea (on an E2) to design a web page for them, and paid them from a US bank account into a Korean account, would it be a violation of the E2 status of sojourn?

You'd be workking for an American company, the work would be sent to you from the US, you'd be paid from the US BUT you'd be sitting at your computer in Korea.
