| Do Koreans think long nails (on women) are gross or weird or something? Some Koreans adults have hinted at that and every now and then a student will be fascinated by my nails lol like they've never seen long nails before lol |

| On the contrary. Many Korean women and girls have long nails - more so than Western girls in my opinion. Bitten nails are certainly not the norm here, thank goodness. Jeez....is there anything relatively trivial (so genocide, torture don't count) more foul than bitten nails on a female? I think not. |

| Well it seems to be quite acceptable for males over here to have long nails (yuk) so I'm sure its not a problem. |

| hhmm interesting....well this korean teacher i knew once said that there was an american girl at the school before me and "she had long nails" - she said this with her nose turned up like it was gross or weird. and when my students see my nails (which are only like 1/4 - 1/3 of an inch long) they're really amazed and they want to touch them lol |
