I'm moving from my old city in the middle of Korea to Seoul at the beginning of next month. Does anyone know of a good, reasonably cheap motel/love motel/hotel to stay in for a week or two (a weekly rate would be great, if that would lower the price instead of paying by the night), while looking for a hagwon job in Seoul? I'll have all my baggage with me (two huge suitcases, carry-on, laptop, so really looking for a place with private rooms, locking doors, not a dump, etc.

Something like the Seoul Motel (Itaewon), if you know it. Does the Seoul Motel have weekly rates? If you know please let me know; will check it out myself though too. Thanks for any help!

Maybe check out http://wiki.galbijim.com and look into getting a Goshiwon, or just find a yeogwan in any area with a nice owner.
