I've just moved to a new area, and am looking to get internet hooked up ASAP. I was with KT Megapass the place before last and loved it, but my boss keeps trying to talk me into signing up with Qrix, which has a cheap TV/internet package.
Has anyone used Qrix?
Do they have download limits?
How do the speeds compare to Megapass?
I really want to avoid a situation like I had for the last 4 months with Kangnam Cable Company and their terrible speeds.
Sorry if these questions are stupid, but I looked on their website and couldn't find anything that would tell me whether they restrictions or not. It just says 100 . |

I've seen their flyers in my neighborhood. They're offering 100 megabit internet for around 22,000 won, which is a pretty decent price. I haven't heard of any ISPs in Korea that have download limits, so my guess is that Qrix doesn't have them either. They also offer a cable package with something like 180 channels for around 12,000 won. |

Thanks for the info.
I'm not looking for cable TV, so I might just go with KT Megapass again to be safe. Don't want to end up with a fvcked internet connection for the next few months. |

Update in case anyone does a search in the future.
Was unable to get anything but Qrix in my sh1tty old building.
It has turned out to be awesome though. My only issue was with the installation, where the idiots ran the cable through the window stopping it from closing, but they came back and fixed it.
Got better speeds at www.speed.nia.or.kr, close to 88Mbps. |
