|

I'm about to move a good deal father away from Seoul than I am now. I've made a lot of friends here, want to find a nice cheap way to crash in Seoul on the weekends when I'm visiting them. Is it true you can spend the night in a Jjimjilbang? How much do they cost? What services do they offer? What are some good locations, the closer to Itaewon the better? |

You can spend the night. It's usuall 8-12,000 won. There's usually a "sleeping area" that is quiet and mostly dark. |

A really good one is located next to the Express Bus Terminal. It's inside the neighboring Central City building on the main floor. Tricky to find, but worth it because unlike most jimjilbangs, this one has bunk beds (but they may be small if you're more than 6 feet tall. Your feet will hang off the end).
I used to get a discount coupon at the information desk inside the bus terminal and pay 10,000 won to stay there (maybe 12,000 won without coupon).
TIP: Bring earplugs because sometimes there are people snoring. |

I would second the Central City one.
There is also one at the Hamilton Hotel. It's not bad, but can get a little interesting as I've heard that it is not uncommon for people to get hit on.
There is one at Yongsan Station that is pretty good. It's called Dragon Hill and they have a cool outside shallow swimming pool so bring your trunks. |

Cool. Is the Central City building labeled in English? What direction is it from the Express Bus station? Which exit should I leave? |

Building name is in English. Sorry, I don't know the exit number, but it's right next to the bus station. Shinsegae Department store is in the same building, Central City. Just ask some Koreans who work in the building where the jimjilbang is. |
