Can anyone here recommend a good shipping service? We're leaving next year and I want to send some of my stuff down to my Mother-in-law in Indonesia later this year. |

Small-ish stuff that you can box up or larger stuff that has to sit on a pallet?
40kg or 400kg?
Furniture and big stuff that has to go in a container? |

Just doing/done all that right now...
Found using the Post Office by FAR the cheapest and you can send up to 20kg in one box - that cost 40,000 per box to NZ
Sent my computer by DHL because of speed (2 days to NZ) and it's massive and worth a lot - that cost 200,000won
I got quotes from a few places and without a doubt the post office is the way to go for small stuff. |

Also doing the same. I second the post office for boxes up to 20kg, but the largest box they offer for surface is on the small side. Perfect for household goods and personal effects, but not for suitcases.
I'm looking for a company that will provide and ship a larger box (about the size of two large suitcases) via surface. Any such places? |

Nothing that is affordable unless you are shipping gold bars or something.
Either go small (post office) or go big (pallet / container).
There is nothing in between that is reasonable. |
