No doubt a lot of you has seen this site, it seems to be high on the google rankings so always comes up. I was wondering what your opinions are on its content.

Personally there is just something which really annoys me about this site which i cant put my finger on. I dont find the content particularly useful but it is something more. I am all for fun lessons involving games, and a general good humoured classroom but this site seems to encourage a whitey clownishness which i find very irritating. Maybe it is just more suitable to the japanese classroom? opinions?

I bought the CD set, but I don't use them very much at all. They are good fun, but they work best for younger kids...6-8 years old. I have met the guy who makes them, and he is very genuine and full of juice for the kids. The CDs also have special games and such when you put them in a CD ROM drive on your computer.

I think that Japan does not take English education as seriously as Korea...I understood that it is common for kids to attend a hogwan-type class only once per week there. Maybe this 'fun' approach based on games and songs is all that people are looking for there, at least for kids.

Bee is right on. I got their CD set as well, but I really didn't care for the site or the worksheets it provided. Only thing I did like is the CD set of songs. I use that if my students are busy coloring or to play hot potato.
