|
I am selling my new dell laptop because I am going backpacking. I have no use for it anymore. It is a great computer.
In addition to everything below I have purhcased an International warranty on it. There are 739 days left on the warranty (as of today) and it is fully transferrable into the new owner's name. It is complete care and accidental damage for the total amount of time. The warranty alone was about $500 at the time of purchase.
Here are the specs:
Dell latitude D620
Intel Duocore T2300E, 1.66 GHZ, 667 Mhz, 2M LS Cach
1.0GB , DDR2-667 SDRAM, 2DIMM
9-cell /85 WHr Battery (lasts for about 8 hours depending on what you are doing)
8X DVD+/-RW burner with Roxio Creator and Cyberlink Power DVD
14.1 inch Wide screen WXGA LCD
256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M TurboCache
Wireless 1490 Dual Band WLAN (802.11a/g, 54Mbps)
80GB Hard Drive 9.5MM, 5400PRM
Windows XP Professional, SP2 with media, operating system (English)
Microsoft Office 2003 Basic Edition
I have all the original software CD's and also all the driver CD's, so there are no problems with authenticity.
I also have adaptors for the battery that work on the airplane and in the car and Norton Antivirus with about 300 days left on it.
I am asking 1.3 million won but am open to offers.
PM me if you are interested or email at [email protected] |

The price may be a bit high - that is why I am open to offers.
You are totally right you do get a one year warranty when you buy new - but that is not international and it only covers manufacturer defects in the country of purchase. The warranty I have covers you anywhere in the world and any kind of accident.
Also the ones that you have there on gmarket do not have all the add-ons that my computer has - or the software.
But regardless, make me an offer! |

You're asking around 500,000 won more than I can buy a brand new compaq hp pressario with the same specs with a two year international warranty in yongsan!!!!
I'll make you a generous offer of 500,000 only if the condition is near to new. |

Fair enough - I guess HP is the brand for you then. I am not going to compare an HP and a Dell.
Thanks for your offer |

Yes it's a bit steep, but I doubt what you said is true. 800,000 for a new laptop with a dedicated video card in Korea?? The cheapest I've seen have been around 1,000,000 with a video card with 128megs. Maybe you have some sweet connection, but I think her comp's a little better than a new one in that price range. |

Go to www.dell.co.kr and see what you can get for the same specs.
You're laptop is worth about $600,000 used. |

it might be worth less....I mean the notebook they have featured on that site is about 1.2mill with a dedicated vid card...to the OP dude....If i where in the market for a notebook (which I am) I would think about ur pc in the 400k range (500k if is looks close to new condition)....or....just buy it new at 1.2mill AND save 100k.
Ur pc is outdated....it happens....fast!
1.3mil......like another poster said....rip off....even for a mill I can get a good system!
Send me a pm I for a reasonable offer and I will drive to ur location and pick it up. |

every single time some one tries to sell a used laptop here they ask for a ridiculous price. Go to youngsan with 1.3 and you can get an awesome machine there, also dell sucks! |

I agree with you koon.
I think people actually calculate it as 20% off of what the had spent on it when they had bought it. The minute someone opens the box, almost all electronic items lose 15% of their market value. Once the warranty period runs out, I would say that it starts to erode more value.
This is not always the case with DSLRs though. |

Computers are different though.
A 40in tv is a 40in tv in a year or two years time. Doesn't get any smaller or not be able to show shows or play games
A brand spanking mid range notebook is a bottom of the range in a year. It can't run the latest games as well as a new one. |

Computers are indeed a tough thing to price - but i must agree against the seller at this point. Tehcnology over a year drastically changes which greatly depreciates the value of a used computer, especially a laptop...I recently bought a 8 month old used custom built desktop that is stocked...and i paid 400,000 won for it and a new LG Cyon cell phone...The unfortunate circumstance is the fact you're selling a Dell - i've been through 2 notebooks and a desktop and quite frankly dell's do not have the best reputation...I will have to say i think you should greatly consider 500,000, especially since some people have been selling extremely awesome laptops (HPs and Macbooks for 800,000 or less). |
