In a country obsessed with physical appearances, why is it so difficult to find a good beautician!

I went to a new 'beauty clinic' in Amsa, and I had to tell the girls there how to use wax. I understand girls here don't have hair, don't wax, but if you can't do it, don't advertise you do! And charge a premium, no less.

Spent all of Saturday trying to find this 'Dashing Diva' spot at COEX, and could not find it.

Girls. Help!

In the Daechi-dong area South of Seolleung Station every other place of business is a beautician! They need so many to service the hundreds of room salon and bar-girls who work there.

Dashing Diva is a big, bright pink place near the Levi's store which is near that foodcourt with the big pyramid feature.

I never though I would hear a complaint about a lack of beauticians in Seoul!!! Oh, I see....you mean a good one. They won't know what to do if you're asking for something which Korean girls don't do.

They shouldn't advertise it if they can't perform it. Wink

Thanks for the tip, eamo!

Is Dashing Diva still there? I saw the Levis store... I must have walked around the mall for hours...

Found this directory online, and it's not listed...

Dashing Diva has left the building. The one in Coex is gone. I don't know about the one across from Costco.

Appreciate the rec, but these guys are always booked out. I should call earlier than a day ahead, admittedly. Embarassed

Kumara,

Have you ever gone to them for a massage? If so, how was it? I'm specifically concerned with privacy and more of a western-style touch ( Korean style massages are too rough for me.)

Thanks..
