I don't know who told you that, but they must have been thinking of North Korea.

Not always easy to get ladies razors there. I switched to a men's Sensor Excel early on. Mens razors are easy to find, and I prefer them now

You can buy pretty much any type of razor you want here, even in little podunk-ass towns.

What's annoying though is that you buy a razor and then when you need new blades, that exact same store no longer carries that particular razor or replacement blades and you have to buy a new razor. At first I was saving them. Had around seven when I decided I'd never get lucky enough to find replacements for any of them and chucked them all.

Keeping finding the replacement blades now, so I've started back up my collection. Have only three because sugaring is far more effective (if much more painful).

You can find a venus razor easy enough, and replacements too. If you like disposables, then I saw ladies bic's at emart.

You can find good quality razors but they are more expensive then what I would pay in the USA ( I am thinking about 3 times more, but I never did a detailed study).

Gillette Mach3 repacement blades are only slightly more expensive at Homepuls than what I usually paid back home in Canada.

As a Gillette Mach 3 user, I stock up for a year's supply when I am back in the US -- they are more expensive here, they don't take up that much space in my bag when I bring them, and...well...they just SEEM better than the ones I have bought here. That last bit may just be my imagination, but you know how in a pack of razors, you may get a batch that you can use for 3, 4, 5 or sometimes even more shaves before the blade starts to pull and you get burn or nicks? And sometimes, the first shave with a razor rakes your skin and just seems wrong somehow? I get more "extra shaves" from the blades I get in the US, and more of the first-shave burn from the Korean purchases I have made...like I said, perhaps my imagination, but yea, I plunk down $100 for razors once a year....

Easy to find good razors here. Now finding good deodorant, that can be a challenge. I think it is becoming a little easier to find deodorant and depending on if you live away from Seoul finding tooth paste that has flouride may pose a challenge.

I hope that was some help, O Dragon Slayer...

I'm pretty sure my town only has about three brands at the biggest store.

So how many shaves do you get out of one Mach 3 blade. I've switched to the new orange ones, they last quite awhile.
