Right.

After tests I'll see some classes twice and some classes once. I'm looking for some good ideas for a poster/art activity to do with the classes I'll see twice (this is middle school). I'm hoping I can use it as an opportunity to get some good student work on the walls of my classroom.

I like them doing travel posters. first, prepare by showing Where the hell is Matt video. Stop just before the place name comes up and let students guess.....

Then brainstorm together what you can write to promote a place in the world. Motto. Logo. Weather, good points , geographic features, foods, famous items etc......

Then they chose a country and flag and are off to the races. In my teaching folder somewhere is a world cup set of world flags, as a handout.

You can also do movies. Bogglesworldesl.com has a movie lesson about this, where at the end , the students do a movie poster about their fav. movie. Time, Days, Reviews, Plot outline...
