Ya know, probably the easiest experience I have had here. No stress, no communication barriers, no worries.
I showed them all of my documents. I told them that I would prefer the money deposited into my Korean account, because I will be in mulitiple places in the U.S.A.
No problem!
I recieved it the NEXT DAY!
Sweet!
(and for some reason.....I recieved two months MORE worht of pension).

That's the first time I ever heard of someone getting their pension while still in Korea(that is, of those who are about to leave). I hope that's a growing trend! |

It is not uncommon to receive your lump sum payment while residing in Korea...It makes sense for the Korean pension offices to pay while the person is still in country rather than waiting until they have left the country and it is harder for them to process the funds...I have helped several friends receive their pension funds and each time they were able to receive the pension in a short period of time after they applied for it...dmbfan, good to see you posting these days...come on over to the other place and put that info there...see ya... |
