Can I turn up in Korea in December or January '08 and find decent employment in a hagwon or public school?.
Plan on looking in Seoul, Daegu, Busan.
SWM mid 30's college graduate, no teaching experience.
U.S citizen so only 30 days on tourist visa to find job.
Will have enough money to live for a mont without work. |

Fishead, in the US a college degree and a university degree are the same thing. college=uni in the states.
OP, if you got a Bachelor's your set.
You can find work in a hogwon. Public Schools main hiring happens around that time, but you wouldn't start work until March 1. |

It isn't necessarily the case everywhere, though. In Quebec, college and university are not at all the same thing; college (CEGEP) comes after high school and before university. |

Another question:
What is the best way to locate hogwons and schools. Plan on knocking on doors looking for jobs. |
