I'm new here so I'm not sure if this is the right place.

I submitted by visa documents to the Korean consulate here in Toronto on Tuesday so I'm wondering if I can book my flight now. Or should I wait until I have the visa printed and in my hand? I have to respond to the travel agent by tomorrow evening for a July 5th flight out to Seoul.

Did anyone ever have their visa delayed? If so, then how come?

It is not unusual for the process to take a few days, but certainly no longer than a week...If they are back logged it could cause a slight delay, but I have never heard of the process taking more than a week even when the person was rude to the conculate people working with them...It might be worth a visit to see what the delay is...Hope this helps...
