i need to get my cat from Daegu to Seoul, and the KTX seems like the obvious solution. However, i wouldn't be suprised if for some reason, it wasn't allowed. Does anyone know? |

I had a carrier, litterbox and my cat on a leash. She sat on my lap from Daejeon to Seoul. No one cared. The KTX people walked by several times and just smiled. No worries! |

thats good to know. I had asked kids in my class and they were absolutely sure I couldnt take her, so I just wanted to check.
I'm happy to sit in that space btw carriages in case she makes a noise.
I will probably have all sorts of cat paraphernalia with me too, because I'm picking her up from friends who her looking after her while I'm on holiday. |

Yup. Put my 3 kitties in their carrier, and the carrier on the tray in front of me. No one said a peep, except for the curious little girl who wanted to know what was making that "squeaking" sound. |

yeah my cat loves eating paper and cardboard. She used to be a street cat, so i think she's got issues.
Where can I buy a leash that my cat wont be able to escape from? She's wiggled and squirmed her way out of the few that I've bought her. |

Oh he eats that too. I guess he must have been a street cat before.
You can buy leads at any of the vet clinics. Maybe invest in a harness rather than just a lead which goes round the neck .

I actually use a harness. We adopted Isha from Happygirl, and she has been a dream! She worked a lot with Isha to harness train her and she responded really well! Just let them wear the harness without the leash to get used to it. Then slowly introduce her to the leash while still in the house. They will probably never walk like a dog, but you can take them out on the leash and harness and allow them to wander a park or grassy area with you. Good luck! |

I brought my dog on the KTX. He's about 17 pounds. We had him in his crate while boarding, then once the train got moving, we took him out and just held him for the ride... nobody said anything. |
