Hi,

Is there an XP patch or programme that lets me view my windows and start menu in both languages?

I sometimes use Korean machines, and English XP at home.
I was wondering if having a dual language system on at home would help me learn the Korean commands, and/or maybe I could install it on my Korean PC at work?

Is there such a thing?

XP can't be switched from one language to another. However, Vista can.

You can install English XP and then install a thing call MUI. When you "Swich user", you can choose Eng. or Kr as the OS language.

MUI = Muli User Interface

Great.

Is there anything that can display both languages at the same time?
(As a way to learn the commands in Korean?)

I took a look at some patches, but couldn't figure out if any let you view the menu in both languages.

I am hoping there is something out there.

Failing that, I could take multiple screen shots^^.

Thanks, Ken

Can you switch languages while a window is being displayed?
Like when you get an error message or such, or do you have to switch user?

Thanks

I just tried switching my English Vista to Korean. It asked me to log out and in again to complete the switch.

I don't think what you want, instant language-switching, is possible on any Windows OS.

Thanks.

Would there be a list anywhere?

Having to use a dictionary can be a hassle, if you are trying to navigate through 3 windows or so.
