Ok, so I'm too lazy and too far removed from my poetry studying days to actually write an ode, but.... this man deserves insane amounts of respect.

Day in and day out he's on this board reading so much crap about his country (some true, some not so true) and yet he always remains calm, level-headed, and well-mannered.

I come from where he's living now and I know Toronto is not always a picnic for Asians, yet we don't hear him being half as pissy as some folk on Dave's. He could easily pull something like "you think you have it bad in Korea cuz people stare at you! Well, in Toronto I get ....." Yet, he doesn't.

He really seems like a great guy. Very mature.

His English is excellent too. I have never seen him make any of those homonym errors common with English language learners.

No kidding. That guy deserves a trophy made out of pizza, and a girlfriend while we're at it.

Actually, most of the writing I've seen by Korean students is very low on homonym errors, even lower than fluent English speakers such as the people on this board. Mixing up "they're," "their," and "there" is just something Korean students don't do.

These days he's becoming more vocal around here, which I think is good. He brings some needed levity to many discussions.

So all you Torontonians, figure out if you can set this fella up with a lady from back home. His picture's around here somewhere. Surely you can pull some strings, get this guy some big ol' maple syrup-covered torpedo bosoms flopping around in his face some time, eh?

He's a better man than me. I wish I had his patience and ability to contol his emotions in a mature manner.

I'll 10th or 11th this, whatever number we're up to. He's a real credit to the board.

Kudus and bravo-your-life. When you come back to Korea, let's organise a meet-and-greet.
