Just looking for people's experience with their online program. I've never taken a course before and I don't have teaching experience. Is this a good program for beginners? I've seen random posts about it but I was looking for more opinions.

Thanks!

I have taken two TEFL courses, this one and ITTT's course. They are similar in content but I liked the fact that KEI's was a truly online course. ITTT's is really an email course where they only allow you to have two units at a time. I would be unable to get more units on the weekends when I had the most time to work on them as they only work (and send you new units) Monday-Friday with the 1st Friday off each month. I found this frustrating. KEI's is truly online and I could work at my own pace 24/7. I also picked them as they are the only online course based here in Korea where I am teaching. Lastly, while this is probably being picky, ITTT took 5 days to pass my last unit and tell me I had passed the course and another 2weeks to send me my certificate. KEI let me know immediately that I had successfully passed the course and I received my certificate in a few days.

Good luck with your course. As I said in another post, I think it is a great idea to use the summer vacation, where some of us have to sit in an empty school for no apparent reason, to take a course that may get you a raise, give you better credentials valuable for the rest of your EFL life, and maybe, just maybe, make you a better teacher and your job a little easier and go smoother..

I can't post information because the mods will see it as advertising, but if you'll PM me I can tell you about the company and the program...One thing I can share that is public information...It is a fully registered and licensed program with the Korean Government who recognizes it...That's about all I can say without having this thread deleted...
