I spoke with a recruiter, then had a phone interview and received an offer in Seoul with EPIK. The recruiter emailed me and said she was waiting for my documents before the contract was filled out, and emailed me a blank contract with no meat. Should I send my documents to Korea without even knowing what the specifics are? Seems fishy to me.

Her reply:

You mean that there is no date and salary??
The date and salary is following their standard 2.0M won.
Starting date is 1st September.
The contract which I sent to you has blanks because of It's EPIK system.
They find a teacher first after that they place the teacher.
When they got your documents and they make sure your level check.
They know the Position Place and students level. however, they didn't decided which school is.
so there is no school's name.
The other articlces are exactly same.
I hope you understand this situation.
If you want to talk with EPIK staff, email me.

Thanks for the humor, though you may have missed the point as I wasn't signing anything yet. My concern was sending transcripts, etc across the sea without receiving an emailed contract with details such as rate of pay, holiday days, working hours etc.

I went through a recruiter for EPIK. At first my recruiter told me that I wouldn't know where I would be placed until I got there. After I did my interview with someone from EPIK, my contract stated which province I would be placed in along with all the blanks filled in for the contract (salary, dates, etc.)
