Hi,
I received an email from a teacher friend looking for advice. Since I know next to nothing about consoles and truly nothing about modding, I figured maybe some of you could offer some advice and perhaps offer the pros and cons of both options.
Here's his email:

hey brother, i need your opinion on something....
Should i buy a legit nintendo Wii here in canada or should i buy a modded japanese one in yongsan?
i could be all cool and legit and have english menus if i get one here (and im waiting to hear back from nintendo about networking stuff) or i could pay a little more but get copied games for manwon a piece, that are apparently region free cause its modded..... |
Thanks in advance |

I am in the same boat. I want a Wii. I am going back to the States in 3 weeks for vacation then coming back for anohter year, Should I get a Wii here, or a Wii there? Sounds lke the lyrics to a song
If I get a Wii here can I play it in the sates? What kind of adapter would I need?
What is the over under in buying 10 dollar games in Seoul as opposed to finding a torrent site? |

| You'll needa transformer eventually either way...I say buy it in the states cause transformers here are dirt cheap and you'll probably save money on the Wii (whatever that is) back in the US. |
