Smyth to Denver.
Druy to the Rangers.
Briere to the Flyers.
Gomez to the Rangers.
Kariya to the Blues.

Buffalo appears to be phucked.
The Aves' will be better...they still had 90 points this past season.
Watch out for the Rangers.
The Flyers are on the rebound.
The Blues..........um..not sure.

No, becaue I really don't care about my spelling on the forum, and I am not an anal spelling nazi..........................I dont expect others to be so concerned about it either.

There is more to life then spelling.

Chris Drury doesn't like you, anymore.

Screw Buffalo!

The New York Rangers have solidified their center-ice position in a hurry.

Unsure of their ability to re-sign No. 1 center Michael Nylander, an unrestricted free-agent, the Rangers acted aggressively on the opening day of this summer's free-agency period. In the space of a couple hours Sunday, the Rangers signed two of the three most-coveted centers in this year's free-agent class -- Scott Gomez, late of the New Jersey Devils and Chris Drury, formerly of the Buffalo Sabres.

"It's pretty exciting," Rangers General Manager Glen Sather said. "We ranked them both as number ones, and we never expected to get both of them."

But get both of those elite centers is exactly what the Rangers did, pulling off that improbable feat within a matter of hours. By doing so, the Rangers have clearly made themselves one of the preseason favorites to win the Atlantic Division title and contend for the Eastern Conference crown. After all, this was a team that made it to the second round of the playoffs this year with less talent than it has now.

um...I don't like Buffalo, so I really don't care.
Actually, I am excited about next season, and seeing how these changes will turn out.

The big losers are the Sabres and the Islanders.

The Isle fail to keep Ryan Smyth , a player they gave up a lot for. They also lose their leading scorer Jason Blake and their top d-man Tom Poti.

Yeah, but the Isles and Sabres are supposed to suck. The Bruins once were a good franchise. And now I'm hearing that the B's have already reached their cap...which blows my mind because they only have about four decent players.

Besides, the Sabres playing the Canadian anthem at all their games never quite seemed right to me. Last I checked Buffalo was still a part of the US, whether they want to be or not. I would have been pissed if they would have won the cup. Any team that has a yellow slug on their jersey deserves to lose.
