|
|
Hi.
A buddy of mine just came back from china and brought me back a bunch of bootlegged games that he bought for like 500 won a pop.
Does anyone know where I can get my PS2 modded to play copied/burned games?
I know the short answer will be yongsan, but does anyone know where specifically? A phone number and/or directions would be much appreciated.
Also, how much does the process usually cost?
Thanks in advance. |

play station ally.. its in between the cell phone allys which are underground.
right by the intersection as you come out of the tunnel from sinyongsan station, the first intersection its on the left about 3 meters before the pedestrian crossing..
I think the price is about 30K for standard and 40 for a slim..
dont take the first offer, they all do modds.. so look for your price..
30 is about fair for a standard../ |

Should cost you around 20-30,000 won.
You should probably go to Gamer's Alley in Yongsan.
Exit Yongsan Station (Sinyongsan as well) and head towards the outdoor market area. At the main intersection, look for a building with a large, rotating, yellow Nikon sign. In the middle of that building you should see a large XBOX 360 sign and a ramp leading down to Gamer's Alley.
Ask any of the clerks there to hook you up. There's a guy about halfway down at a shop called "TRADER" on the left that does good work. He modded my Xbox a few years ago.
Hope this helps. |

Do you guys know if they sell XBOX360 games there too?
I don't mean legit games, I mean the ones that come straight
out of some DVD-RW...
Also, costs? |

I think I'll go today.
Can't wait till I can start playing my (illegal ) copies of Final Fantasy XII, GTA San Andreas, and God of War. |

Yes, you can purchase burned copies of Xbox 360 games at Yongsan. Takes a bit of shopping around, though. A lot of guys will try to upsell you a bigger HD and try to rip games directly using a firmware hack.
I'm never getting my 360 modded, though. Online play is just too damn fun, and the risk of getting banned is too great.
Here's a funny video on the subject.
