I am looking for a good comic strip website that allows you to print off the comic without any words written in the bubbles. Anyone know of any? I want to use this as my closing lesson next week. I have printed off some comic and I am just going to writeout the words, but I think the quality might be a little better if I can find a site that has blank comics on it. |

This is one place I found, but most of the comics had captions...

Your best option might be to dowload a B&W then edit it in your photo editor to remove the captions...It takes a little longer, but it is relatively easy to do...Hope this helps |

I've found a couple of sites where you can make your own comic strips by dragging pictures and speech bubbles into the boxes. Looks really neat. I am at work now and the info is at home, so I will try to remember to look when I get home later tonight.
I think you can also do this with Captain Underpants - there is an official "educational" website under Scholastic. |

Check my teaching folder. There is a zip file full of comic related materials and some with bubbles for student completion. You might also use the JoonAng weekend , in the International Herald Tribune. They have a weekend insert which is crap but the full page comic has some nice bubbles that you could photocopy and use...

On the same topic, I just made a nice presentation of teacher related cartoons. If you are bored, take a look and find something that will make you laugh.....

I'll keep it there for awhile until returning it to my presentations area, only accessible to efl classroom members.
