| My contract is up July 31, but the wife and I can't move into our new place until August 3. The school is keeping the apartment for the next teacher who will start in September, but they told my wife today we couldn't stay an extra two days. They really didn't give her an excuse, except that my contract is up. |

Or ask the new FT moving into your apartment to stay in a nice hotel for couple of days. Of course, you'll have to pay for his/her hotel room. |
