I used to stay there for a month 2 years ago probably things might of change. I am not sure how long you've been in Korea for I assumed u meant "bar" as a place you can drink, in Korea there are 2 types. One is call Hof which is bar where you can get draft beer and side dishes (most bars is a must when order draft beer) and another kind of bar, there they only sells bottle and liquor and much more expensive and this is the actual term of "bar" in korea.

Boncheon itself have more of those hof bars and people usually go into groups or pair. If you are standing on the rigth hand-side of the MAIN road where all all the street shops and vendors are keep on walking straight till you get to "Seoul University of Education" station, it's about 10-15 walks, there are a bunch of bars and alot more crowd. Hope this will help!
