The author of the blog Keeping Pace in Japan has a four part series about working for big time eikaiwa Aeon.

It might make for an interesting contrast and compare exercise for us here in Korea and are always looking longingly at the greener grass over the fence in Japan...

Aeon is a far far far distant second to NOVA in terms of market share. Nonetheless, it's still a major language school and in light of recent rulings against the mighty beast Nova, Aeon should increase its market share in coming months. I worked for Nova for 3 years and really have nothing nice to say about them. It's about time they got busted for all their illegal activities. Once the pension and national healthcare issue comes to light, Nova will really be in the sh*thouse. The other major eikaiwas ahould be shaking in their boots because they are basically doing to same BS as Nova.

I guess I'm lucky I didn't get that job with them.

Of course, I might have just gone, "Par for the course in Korea"
