So, apparently lamb galbi restaurants are catching on in Seoul. I visited one tonight about 100 meters from the stairs of Mia Station on line 4 and I have to say it was pretty damn good. One serving of the good stuff cost 10,000 won, and it was tender and delicious. They had cheaper marinated lamb for 6,000 per serving which was good, but clearly inferior. In any case, this particular restaurant (which I unfortunately do not recall the name of) is a chain and can apparently be found throughout the city. |

Sorry man, I didn't catch it, it was in Korean. The sign was yellow, and it had a picture of a sheep. If you want more specific directions to this particular restaurant I'll be happy to provide them. |

You'll also notice Western Chinese style restaurants around, they usually have a sign saying 양 고치, or skewered lamb grilled over a flame at the table. It's a little pricier than your usual galbi joint, but damn fine food nevertheless. |

Just make sure the Kiwi has been detached from its hind quarters before consuming. |

Ok. For this particular place, head to Mia station, exit 6. Go up the stairs, continue straight at the top of the stairs for roughly 100 meters, and you'll see a Shinhan bank on your right. The lamb galbi place is right around the corner of the Shinhan bank. I recommend either of the 10,000 won lamb dishes, they were both excellent. We tried on of the 6,000 won dishes and found that the marinade overpowered the lamb taste. Still, all in all, I found it to be pretty good. |

I'm gonna bump this thread forever until someone please please please please please please comes up with the romanized version of the Lamb Galbi chain.
Anyone know if it's in Daegu yet? |

I'm pretty sure I'll go back there later this week, so I'll make sure to write the name down. |

If it's a big chain it probably has a website with locations. |

Updated information. It's Mia station exit 5 not exit 6. Walk straight out the exit, about 1-200 meters, next to Shinhan bank. Oh, and the name of the restaurant, as far as I could tell, was simply "Yang gogi" which, for those of you who don't know is simply sheep meat in Korean. |
