Not the most scrumptious offering. I think Starbucks Korea thought this one was going to be another winner like the green tea frap they pioneered. We enjoy green tea ice cream in the west but very few people in the west think of red beans as a dessert item. I kind of doubt it's going to catch on.

I noticed the signs usually feature a hand lettered reminder that it's the "pat bing soo taste".

I was in Starbucks and checked it out on the nutrition chart... I can't remember how many calories, but it had the MOST of any drink... more than 600 for sure.

Those creme frappucinos are the worst when it comes to fat and calories.

I was also afraid of the calories cuz it's a creme-based drink, so I tried the light version, which wasn't bad..... though it was priced over 5,000 won.....

Stayed a good hour and a half, sipping reaallll slowwlyyyy, before leaving.

I assumed it was just a hurriedly produced product to brought out to mask what seems to be a worldwide trend of selling out of banana java chip frappacinos in every store before anyone has even had the chance to drink one.

I'd be willing to try it!

Edit: Didn't see it at my local...

Well, anything with red beans would have to have alot of calories just to offset the terrible taste of the redbeans.

Starbucks sucks: their coffees, their foods, their politics.

I agree with you about their food- the cakes aren't very good. I don't know what you mean by their politics. But how can you argue with their coffee? What kind of coffee do YOU like?

The cakes and pastries at Starbucks aren't that great, but certainly much better than the overpriced cakes and pastries that are sold at Korean cafes like Cafe Pascucci. That stuff tastes like cardboard.

Wrong cafe, there's another cafe chain with a similiar name. I forgot what it's called, but the stuff there doesn't taste good.

If you're talking Pascucci, then the Korean chain is the Italian chain. I'm not sure if there is a Korean chain with a similar name. There's Holly's coffee. That's a Korean chain.

Then I'm in no danger of having you take my favorite table. I like the coffee, I don't like their food, I don't care about their politics, I like their locations, I like their interior, I like their bathrooms, I like their ice water.
